Meet Marybel Morgan ARNP – Pediatric Team in Tampa, FL
My name is Marybel Morgan. I was born and raised in Panama City, Panama. But, after many years of studies and testing, in 1995, my parents received the news that my sister had Cystic Fibrosis. Because the treatment for her illness was limited in our native country, my parents had to make the difficult decision to migrate to the United States. We arrived in New York in 1996, where I completed my High School education. In 2002, I moved to Florida and my son was born a year later. He is 13 yrs. old now, and he is my life. In my free time, enjoy cooking, swimming, reading and traveling. I like learning new things about different cultures and country. I believe that the more we know about other’s beliefs, the less likely we are to judge their behavior.
I completed an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2007 from Galen College of Nursing in St. Petersburg, Florida In 2014. I graduated with honors From South University in Tampa with a Master Degree in Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. My background includes experience in Blood and Marrow Transplant, Cardiac and Critical Care Nursing. I have been a Practicing as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for 2 yrs. I truly enjoy working with children, making them smile and ensuring they are happy and healthy. I am an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioner. I was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing, and I had the Honor to be selected as a top Nurse in Tampa by the International Nurse Association and the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare in August of 2016.
